The German VOD portal Maxdome has added Toshiba connected TVs to its service.
The announcement was already made at this year’s IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, but the service is now implemented.
The Maxdome service, part of ProSiebenSat.1, offers over 35,000 titles – both movies and TV series.
At the moment more than 100 hybrid devices and TV sets from Philips, Panasonic, Loewe, Samsung and LG have direct access to the movies and TV series offered by Maxdome.
“Before the end of the year, we will reach three million households who can access Maxdome directly on their hybrid TVs,” said ProSiebenSat.1 manager Christoph Bellmer, who is responsible for Maxdome, at IFA.
