Poland’s Canal+ Cyfrowy has launched a new web TV service named Cyfra+ Online that gives viewers access to proprietary thematic channels, exclusive Canal+ sports content and on demand programming.
They can also access HBO Go and – in the near future – music content from the Music Only on Demand (MOOD) library.
Commenting on the launch, Jaroslaw Kordalewski, the executive director of the technology and systems division at Canal+ Cyfrowy, said “in order to meet the expectations of our subscribers have launched the service Cyfra+ online, thanks to which they will be able watch content from the platform on their computer screens and enjoy a wide range of programmes on demand.”
Canal+ Cyfrowy’s interests include the DTH platform Cyfra+, which currently has around 1.5 million subscribers.
