The Luxembourg-based company M7 Group SA has appointed Jon Florsheim as CEO and member of the board.
Florsheim until recently held the position of UK CEO for the UK listed company HomeServe. Jon returns to the satellite pay-TV sector that he is very familiar with. He served more than 13 years in various senior and executive roles at Sky in the UK.
M7 is held by CDS Cooperatieve UA and together with its associated company M77 Group SA it is active in several European countries, with various platforms and brands.
Recently it has acquired the platforms CS Link and Skylink, which are market leaders in the Czech and Slovak markets, and it is already active in Netherlands, Belgium and Austria under the brands Canal Digitaal, TVVlaanderen, Telesat and Austriasat.
Jon, who already served as a member of the supervisory board of CDS, commented on his new role in a statement: “it’s great to be back in a business sector I know so well. The international perspective will be an exciting new challenge for me . I’m looking forward to working with the team in Luxembourg and all its partners across the various countries to build and grow the business”.
