Two companies have submitted bids to operate what will be Slovakia’s fourth DTT multiplex.
In a statement, the Slovak Telecom Office (TUSR) says the bids, received from Telecom Corp and Towercom, will now be evaluated by a selection panel established by the regulator and consisting of at least five members.
The criteria it will use for reaching its decision will, be based on the laws on digital broadcasting and electronic communications.
According to the TUSR, the fourth multiplex may be used for the distribution of DVB-T2 MPEG-4 based services.
