The Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska ended the third quarter with almost 183,000 subscribers to its digital cable and IPTV services, or 44% more than a year earlier.
At the same time, its RGU in the TV sector rose by 100,000 to 818,000. TV services provided revenues of around PLN15.9 million (€3.6 million) in the third quarter, up 72% year-on-year.
Multimedia Polska’s total RGU figure at the end of September was 1.477 million (+12.3% year-on-year) and the number of subscribers opting for triple play services was 102,100 (+5% year-on-year).
The double play total was meanwhile 239,800 in Q3 and on average subscribers received 2.04 services. Multimedia Polska’s sales revenues in Q3 amounted to PLN156.4 million (+10%) and EBITDA PLN82.5 million (+10%), while net profit stood at PLN21 million (+10%).
ARPU in Q3 was PLN69, up PLN2 on a year earlier.
Multimedia Polska is the third largest cable operator in Poland after UPC Polska and Vectra.
