RTL Nederland has launched a premium online premium service offering viewers ‘previews’ of upcoming programmes.
As of today, people can watch tomorrow’s episode of the daily soap Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden (Good Times, Bad Times) immediately following the programme’s broadcast on RTL4 at 8.30pm. The programme costs €0.99 per episode to watch.
Arno Otto, managing director of Digital Media at RTL Nederland, said in a statement: “Providing previews is an additional service to the viewer and a nice addition to the existing range of programming on the RTLXL.nl video platform.”
RTL Digital has piloted the preview service with the RTL 5 reality series Oh Oh Cherso and the US series Spartacus.
The RTLXL.nl portal offers the full range of RTL digital video – TV shows, movies, series, promos, videosnacks and backstage material.
