Jaroslaw Kordalewski, who is currently the executive director of technology and systems division at Canal+ Cyfrowy, has also become a company board member.
Kordalewski has been with Canal+ since its launch in Poland in the mid 1990s and been jointly responsible for implementing a number of key projects.
They included the construction of Cyfra+’s first broadcasting centre in Stockholm, the technical systems integration of Wizja TV and Cyfra+ during their merger in 2001, implementation of HDTV in 2006 and construction of a new broadcast system for Cyfra+ in 2008. C
anal+ Cyfrowy operates Cyfra+, the second largest DTH platform in Poland in terms of subscriber numbers.
