Poland’s leading cable operator UPC Polska has extended its on demand service UPC na Zadanie to the towns of Lublin, Walbrzych and Chelm.
The service currently offers viewers around 450 movies, over 60 of which are features and documentaries in HD.
It also provides nine TV channels on an on demand basis, as well as nearly 1,000 clips free of charge.
Separately, UPC Polska has introduced its Fiber Power service, offering internet access at speeds of up to 150 Mpbs, in the city of Bydgoszcz.
The full service is already available in six other cities including the capital, Warsaw.
Nearly 85% of UPC Polska’s network has been upgraded to DOCSIS 3.0.
