The Slovak national transmission company Towercom has extended its DVB-T2 trial.
Zive reports that it is employing a transmitter located in Borskom Mikulasi to distribute a total of seven channels.
One of these is in HD and six in SD, with the latter split equally (three each) between MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 compression.
Towercom began testing DVB-T2 in the Slovak capital, Bratislava, on August 31.
