Russia’s subscription TV market is projected to grow by 16.5% between 2011-15, or over double the worldwide figure of 7%, according to a new study published by PwC.
Entitled Media market in Russia: A future full of potential and part of the annual Global Entertainment and Media Outlook, it also projects that internet advertising will grow by 20.8% (13%) and internet access by 15% (8.6%) over the same period.
TV advertising will meanwhile grow by 15% (6.5%), while the media market as a whole will grow 1.7 times to a value of $35.7 billion (€26.8 billion).
