24Kitchen, the new food channel from Fox International Channels (FIC), will launch on October 1 to over three million homes in the Netherlands, securing capacity on the Ziggo, UPC, Caiway and Glashart Media.
Initially announced in June 24Kitchen will offer original programming for the Dutch market, much of it in the HD format, and featuring Dutch masterchefs Rudolph van Veen and Angélique Schmeinck.
“24Kitchen is FIC’s first fully local lifestyle channel in Europe,” said Jesús Perezagua, President FIC Europe & Africa. “The Netherlands is a priority market for FIC. Its fast digital roll out and dynamic production community make it an ideal market for 24Kitchen and a great launching pad from which to take this channel to the rest of Europe.”
24Kitchen is a joint venture between Fox Channels Benelux and Jan Dekker Holding, will be all about food.
