The Bulgarian incumbent telco Vivacom has completed the sale of its remaining 50% stake in the national transmission company NURTS to Bluesat Partners Ltd.
According to Novinite, this follows approval of the deal, the financial details of which are unknown, by the competition authorities.
Last year Vivacom sold the other 50% of NURTS to the Cyprus-based financial Mancelord Ltd.
NURTS is a key player in Bulgaria’s transition to digital broadcasting, which has been delayed and is now expected to be completed in 2015.
