The Anga Cable 2012 will take place 12 to 14 June 2012, again in Cologne, Germany at the Messe Koeln complex.
Originally, the show and conference were scheduled for May, but when the NCTA announced the US Cable Show will take place from 21 to 23 May 2012 – coinciding with the original Anga Cable dates – the organisers decided to move the German show to a later date in June.
Anga Cable is the biggest show of its kind in Europe. This year for the first time some 16,500 trade visitors travelled to Cologne.
The number of exhibitors at tbhis year’s Anga Cable increased to 420 (previous year: 395), floor space was increased by 15 %. 1,600 telecommunications and media experts attended the congress, which took place at the same time as the show.
ANGA Cable is organised by the Association of German Cable Operators (Verband Deutscher Kabelnetzbetreiber ANGA) and is supported by ZVEI (Satellite & Cable). The event is sponsored by Alcatel-Lucent, Astra Deutschland, AVM, Discovery Networks Deutschland, Nagravision, QVC, and Unitymedia.
