IBC 2011 – AMSTERDAM. Skylink and CS Link have given their approval to the SMiT Irdeto Dual Secure CAM for use with the two DTH platforms.
Between them Skylink and CS Link have over 2.2 million active cards in the Czech and Slovak markets. It is expected that the CAM will shortly be made available through local partners.
SMiT, which is exhibiting in Hall 1 (Stand 1.F86), says any operator can easily increase their subscriber base through marketing to customers in possession of an IDTV or set-top box with a Common Interface slot.
