IBC 2011. Hall 3, Stand No. 3.B23. S3 Group will be showing its StormTest portfolio of products, designed to support operators across the entire platform lifecycle, combining test automation with a knowledge of receiver technologies.
“Unlike previous shows where we’ve taken to opportunity to launch new products, this is the first time that we’ve taken a big stand and brought all of our products under one umbrella,” John Maguire, director of product strategy, TV Technology, S3 Group told Broadband TV News. “It shows the evolution of our business from the traditional role of working directly with the engineering departments to work with a number of departments”.
The company has over 40 customers around the globe, and recently announced relationships with Sky Italia, Canoe Ventures and Irdeto among others. “People want their over the top YouTube content, they want their VOD movies, and their open garden intranet. So you’ve got the content channeled now to you to view on multiple devices.”
