Swiss-based online video portal Zattoo has launched a premium service, called Zattoo+, in Switzerland and Germany.
The pay TV option comes in addition to the free-to-view streaming channels Zattooo offers. In Switzerland the monthly fee is CHF 12.90 and the offer comprises KinoweltTV, Auto Motor und Sport Channel, Planet, FuelTV, Outdoor Sports Channel, Deutsches Musik Fernsehen and Blue Hustler.
In Germany, the bouquet costs EUR9 and includes Auto Motor und Sport Channel, Planet, FuelTV, Outdoor Sports Channel, Deutsches Musik Fernsehen, Body In Balance and Your Family.
Zattoo has also launched a Polish language package and an adult entertainment one. The Polish offer consists of iTVN and TVN24, while the adult offer has Hustler TV and Daring! TV.
” Pay-TV was never easier, faster, cheaper, and unattached to get,” said Jan Kröling, Zattoo, as director of content and consumer responsible for the launch of Zattoo +. “We are the first to succeed clearing the rights for an over-the-top pay-TV package. In the future we will expand our offering and add more channels.”
