The Czech public broadcaster CT is proving to be popular with smartphone users.
According to HN, over 250,000 have downloaded its 12 apps, which will be joined by five more by the end of the year.
Nearly 147,000 of the downloaded apps to date have been to iPhones or iPads, with Android claiming 89,000 for the CT24 and CT4 apps.
A new video archive app, named iVyslini and offering CT content broadcast over the last seven years, is expected to launch within the next fortnight.
CT is developing its mobile apps in conjunction with the companies Inmite, Motion Media, Erika a.s., Mediaworks, Nokia CR, Samsung and Kit Digital.
