IFA 2011 – BERLIN. Jesta Digital has announced the official launch of Bitbop Germany with on-demand programmes from German and US broadcasters on their mobile devices, PCs and laptops, including Apple iPhone and iPad IOS, Android, and via the internet.

Following its beta launch in May, Bitbop Germany now offers a wide selection of programming from over 15 networks including ProSieben Group, HBO, ARD Video, ZDF Enterprises and MTV Networks Germany. Subscribers can download or stream popular shows like Stromberg, Sony Pictures’ Damages, Breaking Bad and The Tudors, Anna und die Liebe and Die Wochenshowand HBO’s Sex in the City, The Sopranos and Entourage. Exclusive to Bitbop Germany, Entourage will be available to subscribers in its original English version. Bitbop Germany will continually expand its TV programme offerings and plans to offer movies in the future.
Consumers can connect to Bitbop Germany via the internet or any mobile phone service instantly over 3G or Wi-Fi via tablet, web and mobile. The service is available for free for a 14 day period or consumers can subscribe on a monthly basis for €9.99 per month for unlimited access to all TV content. Bitbop launched in the US in August 2010.
