Tele Columbus Group has appointed Frank Posnanski as its new managing director and CFO. Maik Emmermann is promoted to the newly created position of chief marketing and sales officer in consumer retail.
Posnanski replaces Paul Taaffe, who supported the company through the interim period of fiscal restructuring. His appointment comnpletes the managament structure of the group next to CEO Ronny Verhelst and CCO Dietmar Schickel.
The two managers have extensive experience in the German cable market: Posnanski as head of controlling, and asset accounting with KabelBW between 2006 and 2008. Emmermann was six years a board member and SVP of marketing, product management and content at the second largest German cable operator Unitymedia .
“The appointment of a new CFO and the establishment of a separate management position with a clear focus on the consumer business are important steps on the path independent of the Tele Columbus group towards stable growth,” said Ronny Verhelst, CEO of Tele Columbus Group, in a statement.
“Both gentlemen are well acquainted with the business of telecommunications and multimedia provider and have already experienced the growth process of companies in the German cable market.”
