Cyfrowy Polsat gained 209,000 DTH subscribers in the year to June 30, ending the second quarter with 3.473 million.
At the same time, it had 130,000 MVNO customers and 43,000 receiving its HSPA+ technology-based internet service.
Group revenues in the second quarter amounted to PLN629 million (€134.1 million), up 67% on a year earlier, while EBITDA over the same period rose by 100% to PLN218 million.
Cyfrowy Polsat’s net profit in Q2 amounted to PLN69 million, a 4% increase on the same period last year.
Cyfrowy Polsat’s DTH operation saw growth in ARPUs for both its Family and Mini programming packages in the second quarter, up by 3.1% and 6.4% respectively.
Within the Telewizja Polsat operation, there was particular significant growth in the viewership of its thematic channels, which rose by 29.3% year-on-year in the second quarter to 4.2%.
The flagship channel Polsat meanwhile claimed an audience share of 17% in Q2, up from 15.5% in the same period last year.
Telewizja Polsat was incorporated into Cyfrowy Polsat this April.
