The DTH platform Skylink now has 1.5 million active cards in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Given that it had a million as of April 7, 2010, this means that it gained half a million – or over a thousand a day – in the space of only 468 days.
Of the 1.5 million active cards, almost two-thirds (945,000) are in the Czech Republic and one third (550,000) in Slovakia.
Skylink is operated jointly by the Czech company TradeTec and Slovakia’s Towercom and has significantly improved its offer in recent months through the addition of more HD channels.
