The Serbian station Prva Srpska Televizija (Prva TV) plans to buy Pro TV in Podgorica, the capital of neighbouring Montenegro.
Satkurier and Teva.ba/Vijesti report that the Greek owners of Prva TV, which is distributed by Hellas Sat 2 at 39 degrees East as part of the Polaris platform, will finance the deal.
Pro TV received a licence several years ago but has yet to begin transmissions.
Prva TV began life as News Corp-backed Fox Televizija and has used its current name since September 2010.
