Slovak Telekom has issued an upbeat assessment of its digital TV services, which were received by 150,000 as of the end of June this year.
Commenting on the company’s latest set of results, Miroslav Majoros, its chairman of the board and CEO, said that it expects the customer base to grow further.
“Moreover, we want to be also pioneers in this area bringing innovations to our customers – that is why we have exclusively introduced for Magio the films of a first major film studio, Universal Studios, in the first six months of this year.”
Slovak Telekom also saw its fixed broadband subscriber total grow by over 8% year-on-year to 453,000 in the second quarter.
Its total adjusted revenues in H1 amounted to €443.8 million, down 4% on a year due to what the company says are “specific regulatory measures”.
