Nicholas Walters has been promoted to VP, general manager Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Russia and CIS.
In his newly created position, he will be responsible for the strategy, development and execution of a full-scale operation and manage VIMN’s newly opened Moscow office.
He will also continue to oversee the corporate development function for VIMN’s wider Emerging Markets region, including the rollout of Viacom Blink!, the female-skewed new channel that made its global debut in Poland last month.
Walters will be based between London and Moscow and report directly to Bhavneet Singh, MD and executive VP, Emerging markets, VIMN.
He will be supported by Irena Nazarenko, senior commercial manager, VIMN Russia.
