Motive Television has added the ability to load pre-recorded content to laptops, iPads and other mobile and tablet devices.
It means its Television Anytime Anywhere platform now gives viewers the possibility to transfer a recorded file from their set-top box to a second screen, or mobile device without the need to be connected to the internet.
Motive has two patented technologies, Television Anytime and Television Anywhere, into a single product allowing viewers to ‘sideload’ content into a single device.
“We are able to combine and extend Motive’s flexible, patented and proprietary technology to help our clients create a wide range of consumer services. Connecting the television with the second screen is an exciting advance both for Motive and a number of different industries,” said Anthony Combe, CTO and VP Engineering of Motive.
Both products will be launched in the autumn.
