CET 21, the operator of the leading Czech broadcaster TV Nova, has had a credit line of CZK300 million (€12.4 million) from the Czech Savings Bank (Ceske sporitelny) extended indefinitely.
According to E15, the agreement between the two parties was initially due to run out at the end of June.
TV Nova has a total of CZK1.8 billion of unused lines from various banks and could use some of the money to launch new channels, such as one, speculate industry observers, targeting female viewers.
TV Nova is understood to have debts of CZK11.7 billion at the end of 2010.
