Push VOD service Sky Anytime is to be made available to Sky Deutschland customers from August.
Replicating the established UK format, customers will be able to enjoy a selection of movies and entertainment content that will be downloaded to the hard disk of their Sky+ receiver. The new service will be embedded into the Sky EPG.
Marcello Maggioni, executive vice president customer group Sky Deutschland commented: “With Sky Anytime we’re presenting another innovation that enables our customers to enjoy the best of their Sky program anytime they want. Sky+ meets the requirements for future TV – and Sky Anytime takes this service to the next level.”
Sky Anytime will initially be made available to satellite homes, with cable subscribers following shortly afterwards.
