Fox Movies Movies will be available on the major pay-TV networks in Portugal from July 1, 2011, according to Fox International Channels (FIC), News Corporation’s international multi-media busines.
Fox Movies promises to deliver quality film entertainment fit for the whole family. The schedule is filled with the most recent box-office successes across genres: drama, comedy, science fiction, action and horror. The summer slate will include box-office hits such as the X-Men and Lara Croft franchises as well as Oscar winners Juno and The Queen.
Apart from Portugal, Fox Movies will also become available in Angola and Mozambique.
Fox Movies is available free-to-air in the Middle East and North Africa and as a pay service in Japan and Portugal. Worldwide, it is beamed into more than 50 million homes.
