Google has acquired SageTV for an undisclosed sum. The company has been developing media center software for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X since 2002.
SageTV has also developed software to stream television to any computer with internet access. Google did not announce any plans what it will do with the new acquisition, but it seems likely that the company will integrate SageTv with its fledgling Google TV service
