UPC Polska has declared its new and free service Remote Recording UPC Digital TV a success.
Launched in mid-May, it saw 31,000 recordings in its first month of operation.
Remote Recording UPC Digital TV allows customers to schedule recording their favourite programmes, not just via the web but also mobile phones and convenient applications for the iPhone and iPad.
In its first few weeks of operation, users made an average of three recordings a week.
A majority of customers (81%) say they would benefit from the service if they miss a programme and are not able to watch it on demand. It would also be popular on leave and at work (41%), as well as when planning evening entertainment (19%).
