Red Bee Media, which manages the content for the BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, Channel 4’s 4oD, Channel 5’s Demand Five and the Virgin Media Player, has developed what it describes as “the first broadcast quality online video platform”.Features include high quality imagery, smoother playback, the latest security through DRM platforms and the integration of live content with intelligent EPG that links past, present and future programming, personalised for the user.

The multiscreen solution has been developed in partnership with Cisco, 247 Real Media and Akamai. It allows the delivery of video content to multiple devices including the iPhone, iPad and PlayStation.
Purchase options allow subscription, download to own, rental and capped or uncapped library access, using Cisco Videoscape Media technology.
