The Czech national transmission company Ceske Radiokomunikace (CRa) will shortly cease operating in its current form.
E15 reports that the decision has been taken to merge it with Morava Czech Communications, which previously owned 100% of CRa.
CRa was acquired by the Australian investment fund Macquarie from the Falcon Group last December for €574 million.
ING Bank also bought into CRa, which is valued at CZK9.8 billion (€404.7 million), earlier this year.
CRa is a leading player in the Czech Republic’s DTT sector, operating two multiplexes directly and a third on behalf of the public broadcaster CT.
