The leading Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat has increased the download speeds offered by its trial Internet LTE product to 100 Mbps.
At the same, its upload speeds have been doubled to 50 Mbps.
Internet LTE has also begun to use the 20 MHz frequency and had its trial period extended to August 31.
The trial, which began on March 16, is the first of its kind involving the provision of mobile internet services through LTE technology.
Cyfrowy Polsat has been a MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) since September 2008 and began to use HPSA+ technology to deliver mobile broadband services in February 2010.
