Carolina Godayol has been named managing director of The History Channel Iberia, the joint venture between Chello Multicanal and A+E Networks, effective immediately.
Based in Madrid, Godayol is responsible for the day to day operations, strategic and financial management of the joint venture and its suite of factual channels including History, Bio and Crime & Investigation Network in Spain and Portugal. Godayol’s mandate also includes developing and executing growth plans for ad sales, distribution and other ancillary revenue streams.
Godayol reports to The History Channel Iberia board of directors.

Godayol previously served as managing director for Iberia at NBC Universal Global Networks overseeing Calle 13 and Sci-Fi. Prior to that, she was general manager for Showtime Networks Spain. Godayol has also held positions with BRB International, and at Chello Multicanal.
