Romania’s Ines Group has acquired Opticables Telecomunicatii, a company that installs cable and fibre optic cables, for an undisclosed fee.
According to ZF, the company was previously owned by Feltrex International (70%) and Radu Bogdan Ortun.
Ines Group is itself owned by Silviu Dorinel Sabau (75%) and Iosif Szavuj (25%) and a triple play company.
It has been providing internet access since 1995 and launched what was probably Romania’s first IPTV service in 2005.
Its revenues in 2009 amounted to over €6 million.
