The Polish DTH platform n has introduced a new and highly flexible pre-paid offer.
Known as n na karte, it gives users access to several dozen TV channels, 12 of which are in HD and including nShow3D, the first regular 3D service in the country. N na karte is accessible through a special HD receiver or nCAM HD module.
Quoted in Wirtualne Media, Katarzyna Szegidewicz, development director at ITI Neovision, said that n na karte’s launch is part of a general strategy of bringing all the company’s products under the n brand name. N na karte consists of two packages – Domowy HD and Premium HD – each costing PLN19.90 (€5.02).
The former is effectively identical to the existing service TNK HD, which is being phased out, with the addition of Polsat, and has to be received in order to watch Premium HD. A further six channels are offered free of charge to viewers free of charge following the end of their pay subscriptions. HD receivers and nCAM HD modules cost PLN398 and PLN249 respectively.
