The Polish incumbent telco Telekomunikacja Polska (TP) is revamping its multimedia offer in order to compete more effectively with the country’s cable operators and DTH platforms.
As of June 1, it will include Fun Pack, a package including VDSL technology based internet access at speeds of up to 80 Mbps; a VOD library of 2,000 movie titles; and an IPTV, consisting of 49 channels, including TVN HD.
The latter will soon also be joined by the ‘n’ package, which, according to TP, offers more HD channels than any other platform in Poland.
Subscribers will also be able to opt for a new VOD service from TP, initially consisting of 200 titles but soon to rise to 500, accessible through PCs.
Furthermore, they will be able to receive a triple play package known as ‘3P’.
Fun Pack will initially be available in seven cities, with more to be added from the autumn.
