Rostelecom’s Siberian subsidiary now has 55,000 IPTV subscribers, or more than double the number 12 months ago.
Its service, known as ‘Twist’, is available in all 12 regions of Siberia and offers a maximum of 78 channels, 10 of which are in HD.
Subscribers also have access to a VOD library consisting of more than 230 movies, TV series and cartoons.
The latter will continue to be developed and include HD content, while the number of TV channels will be increased to 125.
The Rostelecom Siberian subsidiary – full name Sibir Macroregional Branch of Rostelecom – is the biggest telecom operator in Russia, claiming a market share of 34%.
