The Polish DTH platform n has got off to a solid start this year, ending the first quarter with 830,000 active post-paid subscribers, or 15% more than 12 months earlier.
It gained 81,000 new post-paid subscribers and 25,000 net additions in the first quarter, its growth figures being in line with expectations.
Platform n’s revenues in Q1 amounted to PLN176 million (€44.9), up 27% on a year earlier, while ARPU was up by 5% over the same period to PLN59.9.
The TNK prepaid HD offer also performed well, with 17,000 new cards activated in the first quarter and ARPU amounting to PLN16.6, compared with PLN12.2 with the pre-paid SD ARPU of PLN12.2.
The TNK customer base (re-charged) in Q1 2011 stood at 256,000, down from 307,000 a year earlier, while the take-up of HD service rose from 4,000 in Q2 2010 to 38,000 in Q1 this year.
