Telekom Austria said its IPTV service aonTV increased its subscribers base by 50.0% to more than 165,000 subscribers in the first quarter of 2011, up from 151,000 on December 31, 2010.
The IPTV platform competes with UPC cable and satellite DTH reception and to a lesser extent with digital terrestrial broadcasting.
