Slovak Telecom (T-Com) ended the first quarter with 136,000 subscribers to its Magio TV digital services, which are delivered via copper and optical networks, as well as DTH.
This was 11,000 more than the figure it posted at the end of last year. Its broadband subscriber total meanwhile stood at 449,000 as of the end of Q1.
The Deutsche Telekom-backed telco had revenues of €108.3 million for its fixed line business, which includes Magio TV, in the first quarter, which was 4% less than a year earlier.
EBITDA amounted to €40.7 million and operating free cash flow €16.4 million over the same period.
Total income in Q1 amounted to €213.7 million (-7% year-on-year), EBITDA €94 million and operating fee cash flow €48 million.
T-Com’s DTH service Magio Sat was launched in January 2010 and is currently one of five DTH platforms operating in the country.
