Jacek Koskowski has been appointed general manager CEE, BBC Worldwide Channels.
He assumes a new role for the EMEA business that is the first phase in BBC Worldwide Channels’ strategy to establish a local office in the market.
Koskowski has considerable experience in the Polish media industry, having worked initially for Radio Zet and NTW before assuming the role of sales and marketing manager for Zone Vision, now Chello.
Prior to joining BBC Worldwide, he was the director of channels for Polsat.
Koskowski will be based in Warsaw and report to Ian McDonough, senior VP and general manager of BBC Worldwide Channels EMEA.
