The Russian cable operator ER-Telecom has announced that its telecom services are now received in over 3 million homes.
Of these, over 1.5 million opt for broadband internet, 1.34 million pay-TV and over 160,000 telephony, with over 680,000 (23% of the total) choosing packages.
ER-Telecom’s subscriber base grew by 11% in less than four months at the start of this year, while in 2010 the number of subscribers grew by 35%, equivalent to 705,000 homes.
Growth in ER-Telecom’s subscriber base was largely organic, with geographic expansion accounting for no more than 20% of the total last year.
Significantly, bundles accounted for 80% of the total increase in the number of subscribers.
