The Croatian incumbent telco T-HT ended the first quarter with 299,000 residential IPTV subscribers, or 6.8% and 23.4% more than three months and a year earlier respectively.
Its residential ADSL mainline total stood at 535,000, up 2.1% q-o-q and 13.2% y-o-y. T-HT also had 18,000 TV customers and 107,000 ADSL mainlines in its business segment as of the end of Q1.
Despite this growth, recession and special taxes continue to impact on Deutsche Telekom-backed T-HT’s overall performance.
Its revenues in Q1 amounted to HRK1,894 million (€256 million), or 2.5% less than a year earlier, while EBITDA fell by 6.4% to €104 million and net profit by 8.5% to HRK351 million.
T-HT’s IPTV platform MAXtv is one of the best performing in Central and Eastern Europe.
