CTAM Europe widens CAP

April 15, 2011 10.34 Europe/London By Julian Clover

CTAM Europe is opening its annual Creative Awards Programme (CAP) to non-members for the first time.

Launching the fifth annual awards Krisztina Homolay, Managing Director of CTAM Europe said a new division for cable industry suppliers would also be added. “This year, we’ve taken our awards program a step beyond creative excellence and made it more challenging and engaging for participants than ever before. Recognising crucial business trends, industry needs and feedback from members, CAP ’11 will focus on marketing activities and communications that best build and sustain strong brands.”

Entries will be judged in three divisions; cable operators, networks and content providers, and cable industry suppliers, in the following categories: New brand launches and rebrands; Repositionings and relaunches; Customer acquisition and retention; and Innovative use of media.

Entries must include only current marketing and communications materials used between June 15 2010 and June 15, 2011.

Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be presented at the Creative Awards Ceremony during the CTAM Europe EuroSummit 2011 in Malta on September 22 2011.

Last year’s winners included UPC Austria, Telenet and ZON.
