The Czech public broadcaster CT is speeding up its preparations for HbbTV.
Having already developed two successful programme areas for its CT24 and CT4 Sport channels, it says it is now working on a service that allows viewers to run just one TV show from the current programme or its extensive video archive.
The latter, known as iVysiláni, currently contains nearly 1,674 days of original productions.
CT is also working on widgets for Samsung TVs that will give viewers access to its video archive.
Although CT is setting the pace in HbbTV in the Czech Republic, the digital channel Barrandov TV has also expressed interest in the technology.
