The Czech/Slovak DTH platform Skylink could add up to five more HD channels to its offer later this spring in a bid to steal a march on its rival CS Link, which is now under new ownership.
Information about the programming revamp was obtained by Digizone but has to be confirmed by Skylink, which is the leading satellite operator in both countries.
If true, it would see Skylink’s HD offer increase to 16 channels from this May.
It is known, however, that Skylink is currently testing some HD channels obtained from its Bulgarian partner BG Sat.
CS Link was acquired in February by the Luxembourg-registered M7 Group.
