IP&TV WORLD FORUM – LONDON. IP Vision has unveiled a new high definition user interface for its FetchTV over-the-top platform.
The new UI displays hybrid content from linear TV, IPTV and connected devices in an easy to use vertical grid. Linear and on demand content have been integrated into a single view while a new SDK allows developers to quickly develop applications for the platform.
David Bloom, IP Vision’s commercial director, said: “The user interface is critical to an operator’s ability to communicate with audiences. The interface should not only be easy and fun to use, it must also act as a true navigation partner that offers useful and personalised programming and marketing information in a timely fashion regardless of the origin of the content, be it broadcast, online or on demand.”
In addition to its range of Freeview products IP Vision is also offering the guide as a end-to-end managed service offering available to telcos, ISPs and others who wish to launch a TV service to their customer base.
