Sky Deutschland and Tele Columbus have announced the introduction of a triple play offer which comprises a 6 Mbps internet- and telephone flat rate, the cabler’s basic digital TV package and the Sky Welt package plus one Sky Premium package (Film, Sports or Bundesliga).
All subscribers who buy the new triple play package before the end of April will pay a discounted price of €39.99 per month for the first year. From the second year onwards the package will be offered at €49.99 per month.
The new triple play offer is possible thanks to the fact that Tele Columbus customers need a single digital cable tuner to have access to the different digital channel packages from Sky and Tele Columbus following the introduction of the CI Plus tuners.
Dr. Holger Enßlin, chief officer legal, regulatory and distribution at Sky Deutschland, said in a statement: “With the cooperation with Tele Columbus we can reach even more consumers via the cable network. This joint offering is another manifestation of our strategy which always places the customer in the centre of our attention and facilitates access to the breathtaking Sky programme.”
“With the joint offering of Tele Columbus and Sky we have prepared a package for our customers that leaves nothing to be desired” said Dietmar Schickel, general manager of the Tele Columbus Group. “With our attractive pricing and our customer-oriented technology this cooperation will set a benchmark to promote digitalisation in the cable TV sector.”
