The Russian DTH platform NTV-Plus has launched a new sports channel today (March 14).
Known as NTV Plus Futbol 2, it has replaced NTV-Plus Sport Klassika in the Supersport package.
NTV Plus Futbol 2 offers live and recorded football from overseas cups and championships, as well as recordings of the most interesting games in primetime.
NTV-Plus has also begun to broadcast a HD version of NTV-Plus Fubol in the NTV-Plus HD and Supersport packages on a trial basis.
NTV-Plus is the longest-established DTH platform in both Russia and the CEE region as a whole, having made its debut in 1996.
